We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Claims Negotiation Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving settlement of claims in a timely and cost-effective manner, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and deploying effective claims resolution and settlement strategies;
  • Managing and negotiating pre-proceedings and litigated claims, including communication with claimants and solicitors;
  • Providing side-by-side technical coaching and mentoring to team members to help share knowledge and improve performance;

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience with managing a portfolio of CTP claims;
  • Good negotiation and resolution skills;
  • A high standard of written and verbal communication across traditional and electronic communication media;
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, Insurance or related field (desired).
