Environmental Sustainability Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement environmental management strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting comprehensive environmental management plans, collaborating with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into project activities.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate records of environmental data, monitoring progress toward established goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor environmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Design and deliver environmental awareness programs, training staff on best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on environmental policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks to project teams.
- Analyze and interpret environmental data, making recommendations for process improvements and sustainability enhancements.
Prior experience in environmental sustainability or a related field is highly desirable. A strong understanding of environmental regulations, laws, and industry standards is essential.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective environmental management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation, regulatory frameworks, approval processes, and industrial compliance.
