About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator/Cost Planner to join our Brisbane team. This individual will be responsible for developing strategies to win work and collaborating with colleagues to achieve success, while also being hands-on with cost planning for repeat and ECI business, and hard dollar tendering.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on a broad range of tenders and cost plans, including multi-story residential, retail, and industrial projects, with a value range of $5M-$100M.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Buildsoft and/or CostX software.
  • Excellent assessment and analysis skills, with the ability to understand project details and client expectations, particularly on D&C projects with incomplete documentation.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work closely with local subcontractors and understand the local market.
  • A strong background in Quantity Surveying is highly desirable.
  • Collaboration with operational team members on tender programs and buildability.
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, bills of quantities, and strategies for tender submissions.
  • Conducting post-tender negotiations.
  • Preparation of contract and costing documentation for construction teams.
  • Confidence in client-facing interactions.
