Project Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building services design and analysis using industry standard software packages.

The role involves working across internal disciplines to deliver and coordinate multi-disciplinary projects, taking responsibility for the internal management of the delivery and planning for allocated projects, understanding, identifying and proactively managing project risks.

You will be responsible for developing mechanical design projects (or components of projects), design basis, scopes of work, specifications, cost estimation, proposals, design reports, etc.

  • Mechanical services design and analysis using industry standard software packages.
  • Working across internal disciplines to deliver and coordinate multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Taking responsibility for the internal management of the delivery and planning for allocated projects.
  • Understanding, identifying and proactively managing project risks.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong mechanical (HVAC) engineering knowledge and experience across a range of sectors and climates.
  • Experience in cooling and heating load estimations (ACADS-BSG CAMEL).
  • Understanding of standards, regulations and legislation across various sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of interfaces between mechanical and other building disciplines.
  • Understanding of project management processes and delivery.
  • Strong technical and client management skills, including a professional approach.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to provide detailed reports.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Confidence and determination in problem solving to derive innovative solutions.
