Senior Cyber Security Role

Ashurst Risk Advisory is seeking an experienced Executive to join their Cyber Risk and Resilience team in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. This role involves delivering strategic cyber risk advice and implementation support to organisations as they navigate pathways to cyber resilience, compliance, and cyber crisis response.

You will be a key member of a team using robust methodologies to align cyber with clients' strategic imperatives and help build cyber resilience. You will require a strong understanding of technology cyber threat environment and cyber risk methodologies, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in plain language to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering strategic cyber risk advice and implementation support to organisations.
  • Aligning cyber with clients' strategic imperatives and building cyber resilience.
  • Communicating complex concepts in plain language to senior stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of specialised cyber risk experience ideally within a consulting environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of common frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, Essential Eight, and ISO31000.
  • Experience implementing SOCI obligations for a range of clients and industries highly desirable.
