About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who share your passion for education and child development.

  • You will be responsible for developing age-appropriate activities for children, supervising them during activities, and building positive relationships with parents, staff, and children.
  • You will also be required to maintain a clean and organized environment for the program, as well as assist with administrative tasks as needed.
About You

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • Patience and empathy when working with children.
  • A strong understanding of child development principles.

Qualifications or studies include:

  • Completed Cert 3 or Diploma in Outside School Hours Care or Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Completed Cert or Diploma in Teacher Aide/Education Support.
  • One-year full-time equivalent studying Primary, Secondary or Special Education, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diversional Therapy, Speech Pathology, Creative Arts, Fine Arts, Drama, Music, Sport and Recreational.
  • Current Blue Card, First Aid & CPR or willing to obtain.
  • Previous experience working with diverse communities is an asset.
