Cancer Research Fellowship

We are seeking a talented researcher to join our team in this prestigious fellowship, combining cancer biology and machine learning expertise.

  • The successful candidate will work on developing innovative models to understand complex materials systems at the molecular level, with applications in precision diagnoses and individualized cancer care plans.

This highly competitive opportunity is open to outstanding applicants with a strong grounding in one or more relevant disciplines, including cancer biology, physics, chemistry, engineering, data science, and coding.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing multiple instance learning and weak supervision / spatial transcriptomics models for tumor type identification and biomarker analysis.
  • Collaborating with leading researchers in cancer medicine, physics, chemistry, and engineering to advance our understanding of cancer biology.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the development of research papers and presentations.

A stipend scholarship of $40,000 per annum (pro-rata) and fee-relief scholarship for up to four years will be provided, along with opportunities to work with esteemed researchers and collaborate on a project with the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute and CSIRO.
