Key Responsibilities

The Performance Manager will act as the prime interface for the delivery of our Land 400-2 program to the Commonwealth. This senior leadership position will be responsible for delivering operational effectiveness across the organisation's current and future programs, including but not limited to LAND400-2 Acquisition and Support Contracts.

  • Establish effective processes for scope identification and management, integrated planning & scheduling, estimating cost and time, integrated risk identification and quantification and proposal development;
  • Manage and coordinate the interface between numerous Entities involved in the LAND400-2 program;
  • Present reports on the progress as well as challenges and remediation plans in relation to the program;

This role requires strong interpersonal communication, consultation and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline, and proven experience in Project/Program Management, preferably within the Defence Industry.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Operational knowledge and capability of Microsoft Office Professional;
  • Sound leadership capabilities;
  • Experience in managing projects and project resources including subcontractors and multiple service providers using PM methodologies;
  • Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Clearance (Negative Vetting 1); and
  • An ability to travel internationally and interstate when required.
