About the Role:

  • Supervise and support a team of care professionals, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, upholding the highest level of professionalism.
  • Liaise with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and investigate issues and incidents, maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and standards, promoting excellence in care delivery.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Registered Nurses (RNs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), supporting their professional growth.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA Registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a strong clinical background.
  • Aged Care and NDIS experience is preferred.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Card.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation, and auditing processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, extensive leadership, and management experience.
  • Current Flu and Covid Vaccinations.
  • A valid Police Check.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Driver's Licence.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
