Orthopaedic Theatre Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our theatre team in a centre of excellence for Orthopaedic Surgery.

  • Aim to deliver optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate expertise in clinical procedures and patient management, ensuring quality and risk management are integrated into daily activities.

About the role:

This opportunity will see you provide exceptional care throughout patients' procedures, working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

  • A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Perioperative Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse is essential.
  • You must be registered with no restrictions with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - AHPRA and comply with ACQSHC National Standards.
  • A Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing or working towards it is desirable.
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to work autonomously.
