The Role:

CDC NSW is looking for a skilled bus driver to work night shifts at Emu Plains depot. As a bus driver, you will assist customers in reaching their destinations and meet their commitments by providing a safe and comfortable journey. This is a 21 hours permanent part-time position with the opportunity to work weekend nights as part of the working week, so availability on weekends is essential.

  • Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service
  • Carrying out pre-departure checks and reporting mechanical defects
  • Driving effectively and efficiently while ensuring passenger safety and comfort
  • Identifying, addressing, and reporting unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices, or behavior in the workplace
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of road laws and company policies
  • Collecting correct fares, issuing tickets, and checking passes
  • Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data, and fuel and charter records
Skills, Attributes, and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above) and be willing to obtain a NSW Bus Driver's Authority and a Working with Children Check. They should also provide their current RMS driving history and have excellent communication skills.
