Exciting Opportunity in Portfolio Management

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Portfolio Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of key customers and referral partners within our broker clients.

Your primary objective will be to identify new business and referral opportunities and establish, develop, and utilise networks of internal and external contacts to aid achievement of income targets.

You will assess the economic value and risk potential of new business, maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio, and implement local competitive and aggressive sales/income campaigns and initiatives.

In addition, you will develop and improve professional excellence through management of individual and team performance, implement annual business plans for the customer portfolio allocated, and personally sanction BFS lending within own personal lending authorities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a retail/business banker, with 4+ years within business banking and/or credit assessment. They will also have deep knowledge across the range of NAB products and services, an understanding of business/commercial practices, BFS products and services, with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment, and control experience.
