Disability Employment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Employment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our employment services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. As a Disability Employment Specialist, you will work closely with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to deliver tailored employment solutions. Your expertise will help identify and secure employment opportunities, support participants to become job-ready, and develop personalized job plans for clear employment pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Secure Employment Opportunities: Collaborate with local employers to source job openings and create mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Support Participants to Become Job-Ready: Help clients identify skills gaps and provide training and support to enhance their employability.
  • Deliver Quality Service: Adhere to contractual and compliance requirements while providing exceptional service to clients and employers.
  • Develop Personalized Job Plans: Create customized job plans that align with clients' strengths, interests, and career goals.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster positive relationships with local employers, community groups, and other stakeholders to expand job opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Eligibility to Work in Australia
  • Current Driver's Licence and Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
  • MyID (Standard Level)
  • Willingness to Complete a National Police Check
  • Able to Pass a Working with Children Check
  • Availability to Work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
