We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Practitioner Accommodation. This role involves supporting clients to develop and maintain independence, advocating for their individual needs, and delivering personalized support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients to develop and maintain independence and advocate for their individual needs.
- Deliver personalized support by assisting clients with daily activities, administering medication, and using manual handling equipment.
- Monitor the well-being of clients and report on their progress.
- Transport clients in our wheelchair-accessible vans and pool cars.
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to provide high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of clients.
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).
- Local to the Northern Beaches area.
