About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team of professionals who are dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently. As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to clients, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, and advocating for their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients to develop and maintain independence
  • Deliver personalized support, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and manual handling
  • Transport clients in wheelchair-accessible vehicles
  • Monitor client well-being and report on progress

Requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disability, high physical support needs, and medical/health needs
  • Current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)
  • Local to the Northern Beaches
