Cerebral Palsy Alliance is committed to providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Disability Support Practitioner to join our team in Beacon Hill, NSW.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to clients, promoting their independence, and advocating for their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.
  • Transport clients in our wheelchair-accessible vans and pool cars, ensuring safe and comfortable travel.
  • Monitor client well-being and report on progress, providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities, with a focus on promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, high physical support needs, and medical/health needs.
  • Current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum) and local residence in the Northern Beaches area.
