Occupational Therapy Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our team in shaping the next generation of occupational therapists.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a key part in educating and supporting students as they build their clinical skills and undertake professional placements. Your expertise will contribute to developing high-quality curricula and programs that enhance student learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate and support students in developing their clinical skills and knowledge, focusing on evidence-based practice and research integration.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and delivery, ensuring alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to explore inter-professional learning opportunities that foster holistic understanding and practice.
Requirements
  • Completion or near completion of a PhD qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent accreditation and standing, demonstrating expertise in occupational therapy education and research.
  • Experience as an educator, including the capacity to conceive, develop, and deliver higher education curricula that promote student engagement and academic success.
  • Research experience and potential, including refereed publications and participation in research teams, showcasing your ability to drive innovation and quality improvement.
Desirable
  • Experience undertaking academic administrative functions, such as course coordination within a university setting, which would enhance your leadership and organizational capabilities.
