Job DescriptionAs a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to arrange and approve value-added services (VAS) for our customers.
- Organizing transport based on customer promises and lowest costs.
- Coordinating with customers on specific pick-up/drop-off locations and times.
- Facilitating permits and documents for customs.
- Arranging other VAS such as fumigation, stuffing, certificate of origin, etc.
- Performing all communication with vendors (excluding carriers).
- Updating system statuses and uploading documents related to KN services.
- Attending to Dangerous Goods approvals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a similar role (highly preferred).
- An understanding of local markets and regulations within the industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
- Prior exposure to balancing stakeholders and managing conflict.
