Family Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as a Family Support Specialist. This key role involves working closely with maternal child health nurses to deliver high-quality services that promote the health, development, and wellbeing of infants, young children, and their caregivers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the delivery of the Maternal and Child Health Program by providing direct service delivery to parents and coordinating parenting groups.
- Developing educational resources and displays at Maternal and Child Health centres.
- Maintaining a safe environment in the centres and participating in regular safety checks.
- Providing administrative support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to families.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A strong understanding of the support needs of infants, young children, and their families.
- A diploma-level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or similar.
- A current Working with Children's Check.
