Job Title: Family Violence Support Specialist

Our organization is dedicated to providing high-quality support services to individuals and families affected by family violence. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Violence Support Specialist to join our team.

As a Family Violence Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering client-centered support to adult and child victim-survivors of family violence. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining accurate client records, coordinating referrals, managing correspondence, and assisting with data and reporting.

You will work closely with our Case Management teams to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our services. This includes streamlining administrative processes, building a comprehensive picture of client circumstances, and enabling Case Managers to focus on direct client support.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate or diploma qualification in social work, community services, community development or a related field. You will have a foundational understanding of the drivers, dynamics, and impacts of family violence, as well as demonstrated ability and willingness to develop skills in work with adults, young people, and children from diverse backgrounds facing complex challenges.

Salary and Conditions

Annual salary range is $76,386.73 - $81,924.00 plus superannuation. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.
