Lead Construction Projects Manager for Queensland Government

Empire Group seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects in their Capital Works team. The role involves coordinating and managing all aspects of building projects, ensuring they meet client requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing project activities, including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction activities.
- Ensuring projects achieve client scope, time, cost, cash-flow, and quality requirements, as well as profitability targets.
- Coordinating with external consultants, building contractors, managers, and other business units to achieve project objectives.
- Leading negotiations with stakeholders to ensure value-for-money solutions are identified and delivered.
- Monitoring variances and performing project audits to ensure effective project implementation.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- A tertiary degree is not required but highly regarded.
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects and contribute to the success of Empire Group's clients.
The estimated salary for this position is around $85 per hour, plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.
