An Exciting Opportunity Awaits a Passionate Kitchen Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Specialist. As a key member of our partnership with the garden team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.

The program aims to introduce young children to the wonders of good food by developing a productive food garden and an engaging kitchen that fosters sharing and learning experiences within the school curriculum.

  • To achieve this goal, you will work closely with the garden team to provide culinary experiences for students through:
    • Planning weekly lessons in the kitchen that bring meal preparation and garden produce together;
    • Preparing meals from garden produce and adapting them to suit children's needs;
    • Liaising with volunteers to ensure seamless support for our program.
