About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our centre's team.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your cooking expertise and work with a passionate team dedicated to providing high-quality early education and care services.

The Role

You will be responsible for creating healthy menus that cater to the diverse needs of children. Your role will also involve participating in lessons, family events, and collaborating with colleagues to share recipes, ideas, and best practices.

You will have access to a national network of experienced cooks who can provide guidance and support throughout your journey.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control.
  • Proven track record of adhering to strict food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
  • Able to prepare and evaluate nutritional content of menus for children of all ages.
  • Current Food Safety and Handlers (Health and Community) Certificate.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
