Energy Efficiency Specialist

This role is for a professional seeking to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse emissions and drive improvements in energy efficiency.
In this position, you will be part of a team working on the administration of the largest energy efficiency program in Australia.
- You will engage with scheme participants and other government agencies to ensure the objectives of the VEU program are achieved.
The Compliance Analyst will conduct compliance investigations and site inspections into potential regulatory breaches.
You will research, gather and review evidence, analyse and interpret complex information to support the division's work.
The key responsibilities include drafting correspondence, briefings, decisions, notices, industry guidance, papers and reports.
You will prepare recommendations for compliance and enforcement action, provide project management support, and manage aspects of projects.
The successful candidate will also work with accredited persons and scheme participants to remediate non-compliance and promote compliance.
