About Our Role
As a Doorways Support Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for community members. You will provide a welcoming environment, essential items, refreshments, and support connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive site-based support
- Distribute allocated financial assistance
- Refer to other services, programs, activities, and spiritual support
Skills and Qualifications
You will need excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and confidence in meeting new people. Previous experience working with community members or in customer service is beneficial.
Time Commitment
A minimum of 3 hours/week or as agreed with your manager.
