Your next opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Administrator/Resource Scheduler to join our team in Townsville QLD, reporting to the Area Manager.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the contracting operations for our Far Nth Qld Region in asphalt and spray seal operations.

Your day will involve:

  • Effective planning and coordination of works to ensure time and budgetary objectives are achieved
  • Collaboration with internal team members, locally and regionally, and external customers to ensure effective allocation of resources
  • Review and optimise labour utilisation, plant and equipment maintenance and availability
  • Coordination and management of subcontractors
  • Coordination of business training
  • Purchasing, payroll, job costing and other admin duties as required
  • HSEQ support for the business

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a senior Administration, Scheduling or Coordination role within a similar industry
  • Purchasing, payroll and job costing experience will be highly regarded
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with our contractors, clients and team members
  • Heavy Vehicle and Chain of Responsibility knowledge (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and practical project management skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Highly developed computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
