Clinical Support Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated individual to fill the role of Clinical Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to grow and develop their skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.

About the Role:

The Clinical Support Officer will provide administrative/transactional services to support the work activities of nurses, midwives, medical staff, and allied health staff. This role complements existing roles, systems, and processes within the facility, and involves working closely with existing administrative staff at the ward/unit level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Holding or being willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or having equivalent work experience.
  • Self-motivation with ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Capacity to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a dynamic team in a high volume, demanding work environment.
  • Excellent team skills and ability to work effectively in a busy multi-skilled team environment.
  • Computer literacy with advanced knowledge and practical skills in computer and internet-based software, with a high level of accuracy in word processing, data entry, and minute taking skills.
