Overview

Community Support Worker - In Home Care role at Catholic Healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to visit clients across Hornsby, Thornleigh, Pennant Hills and surrounds.
  • Provide in-home support with day-to-day tasks in the client's care plan (cleaning, tidying, laundry, and related tasks).
  • Transport clients to appointments and shopping.
  • Meal preparation.
  • Social support or respite for family or carers.
  • Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (where qualified/fully trained).
Qualifications and Attributes
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older Australians.
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliable team player.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential).
  • Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential).
