About The Role
Due to continued growth and project demand, we are looking for a Draftsperson with strong proficiency in residential construction and effective documentation skills. You'll be part of a high-performing Drafting team responsible for producing accurate drawings, coordinating with consultants, and offering design and efficiency suggestions to support better project delivery.
- Complete all allocated drafting tasks within agreed deadlines, proactively resolving matters with your manager.
- Coordinate reports and technical information with external consultants and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending innovative building methods or materials for cost or quality advantages.
- Liaise with the team to ensure designs meet compliance, functionality, and aesthetic standards.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced residential drafting skills with demonstrated experience in the housing and construction industry.
- At least 5 years' experience in the residential housing and construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing construction documentation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design highly regarded.
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues.
