Job Description

We are seeking a senior actuary to provide customised and innovative solutions for our clients. As a reinsurer, we protect customers in the event of a claim.

  • Pricing documents of new business and renewals of group insurance/reinsurance require accurate analysis and timely delivery.
  • The client and reinsurance solutions teams rely on actuarial input for product terms and conditions advice.
  • Maintaining pricing models, including loss ratio models and credibility models, is crucial for effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Actuarial pricing analyses of group reinsurance for new business opportunities and existing client base require attention to detail and strong technical skills.
  • Accurate and timely deliverance of actuarial pricing analyses is essential for meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Staying up-to-date with market research and reports on group insurance experience analyses and market developments is vital for providing expert advice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A qualified actuary (FIAA or equivalent) with at least five years' experience in the Australian life insurance sector is necessary for this role.
  • In-depth knowledge of group insurance products and current market trends is required for providing informed advice.
  • Advanced actuarial modelling expertise and strong technical skills in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel, are essential for effective data analysis.
