Warehouse Operations Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Professional to join our team in Townsville, Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in a warehouse environment and has experience operating counterbalance forklifts.

The successful candidate will have the ability to safely load, unload deliveries, move, stack, and wrap products in the warehouse, as well as pick and pack orders accurately.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, maintain a safe and organized workspace, and communicate effectively with colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a valid forklift license, physical strength to handle manual tasks, and attention to detail.

You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be willing to learn new systems, and be able to work independently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and wrap products in the warehouse.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately, ensuring correct timber lengths and quantities are delivered to customers.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
  • Learn and utilize digital warehouse systems for dispatch of orders and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Forklift License: Valid and ready to use. Experience with long timber loads is desired but not essential.
  • Physical Strength: Able to handle manual tasks and stay active throughout the day.
  • Attention to Detail: Be precise and careful with your work.
  • Communication Skills: Work well with others and communicate clearly.
