Warehouse and Workshop Specialist

We are seeking an organized and skilled Warehouse and Workshop Specialist to support our operations. This hands-on role involves managing inventory, operating machinery, and ensuring a safe work environment.

  • Picking, packing, and checking parts for water tanks.
  • Loading and unloading trucks safely in accordance with procedures.
  • Receiving and unpacking goods, verifying against delivery dockets and purchase orders.
  • Maintaining organization and accuracy of the warehouse and inventory.
  • Conducting stock takes and cycle counts as required.
  • Operating steel processing machinery including: Steel bandsaw and Hydraulic ironworker.
  • Assisting in minor fabrication work as directed.
  • Performing pre-start and safety checks on machinery and equipment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the workshop environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  1. Previous experience in a warehouse, workshop, or similar environment.
  2. Forklift license.
  3. Competence in operating machinery (e.g., bandsaw, ironworker) or willingness to learn.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and inventory.
  5. Good organizational and time management skills.
  6. Ability to follow safety procedures and conduct equipment checks.
