Geriatrician Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Geriatrician to join our department of Older People's Medicine.

This is an exciting time to be part of a forward-thinking and innovative team developing services that begin in the heart of the community, caring for patients in their homes using virtual wards and throughout the acute hospital journey.

Main Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct ward rounds on our virtual ward supported by a doctor or SpR.
  • Act as the clinical supervisor for the junior team.
  • Provide appropriate clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary ward team.

The post holder will have scheduled time working in the Emergency Department completing frailty assessments of patients at the front door.
