Job Title: Paediatric Complex Care Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Complex Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical consultancy across the Mid North Coast Local Health District.
Your role will involve acting as a critical connection between families and health services, including specialists, primary health, referral hospitals and tertiary providers. You will actively promote and participate in patient safety and ongoing quality improvements, engaging in practices that promote the best possible health outcomes for patients/clients and support a culture of patient safety, clinical quality and innovation.
This is a district-based role working in either of our Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie Corporate Offices. You will need a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with at least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience and postgraduate qualifications or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will need demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients, carers, the multidisciplinary team, and services across the continuum. This includes promoting and participating in patient safety and quality improvements, as well as supporting a culture of patient safety, clinical quality and innovation.
