Job Title: Assessment Reform Leader

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and delivery of assessment support materials for Stage 6 syllabus.
  • Manage and mentor a team of assessment officers to ensure projects are completed on time and to high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, effectively managing resources and timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance assessment projects.
  • Monitor and integrate national and international trends in educational assessment and examination practices.
  • Provide expert advice on assessment projects and identify emerging risks and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in secondary education.
  • A strong understanding of NSW Curriculum Reform agenda and current assessment policies.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects within set deadlines and resource constraints.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset to balance competing demands and priorities.
