About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Goodstart Early Learning. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a critical role in enhancing the outcomes of children and families within our early learning and care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement evidence-informed capacity building approaches to support the progression of children's learning, development, and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with Centre Directors, Educators, and other key stakeholders to observe, identify, and support the inclusion and participation of children.
  • Communicate and engage regularly with families to support their child's development and well-being.
  • Build linkages with local services and streamline referral pathways into and out of the centre.
  • Attend and participate in Centre Team meetings and contribute to the development of a strong, cohesive team.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and coaching skills.
  • Strong understanding of child development (birth - 5 years).
  • Ability to document, analyse, and report on relevant key performance indicators.
