Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Professional to join our Project Management Office team at the Milton, Brisbane Hub Office.

This role offers the opportunity to provide high-level contract analysis, execution, and management support to ensure seamless compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the provision of comprehensive contract summaries and ensure timely execution of contracts in line with company policy.
  2. Analyze and report on Supplier/Contractor performance and KPIs on a monthly basis.
  3. Conduct regular meetings with suppliers and contractors to discuss project progress, variations, and payment claims.
  4. Manage contract variations, payments, and issuance of payment certificates while maintaining accurate records.
  5. Maintain a database of suppliers, including details of executed supply contracts or Purchase Orders for each project.
  6. Monitor and reassess the validity and conditions of suppliers under Master Service Agreements.
  7. Establish and implement governance structures and processes to support contract management activities.
  8. Ensure commercial category alignment and upload Ariba payment claim recommendations.
  9. Provide dispute resolution support and manage contract performance against KPIs.
  10. Renew contracts, update conditions, and details as required.
  11. Evaluate Contractor performance, assessing risks related to safety, compliance, cost, and quality of work.
  12. Oversee paperwork associated with contracts, programs, and projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
  13. Track contract deadlines and conditions to guarantee adherence to timelines.
  14. Promote vendor management compliance and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working as a Contract Administrator, with knowledge of legal requirements involved in contract management.
  • A background in the mining, oil, and gas industries, with familiarity of accounting procedures.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and database applications.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Law, or a relevant field.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, enabling effective communication with various seniority levels, staff, managers, and external partners.
  • Sound planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-motivated individual able to work independently under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate must be able to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and undergo a National Police Check.

Salary Estimate:

Based on national averages for similar roles, we estimate this position's salary to range between $80,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
