About the Position:

This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to develop their career in the paint industry. As part of the DuluxGroup, you will be part of Australia's largest network of paint stores, serving both retail (DIY) and trade (professional/commercial) markets.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the paint industry, with relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries. This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customers.
  • Tinting and mixing paint to meet customer requirements.
  • Following the 'Inspirations Way' guidelines to deliver excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  • Contributing to sales, stock control, and merchandising initiatives, while maintaining store presentation, stock management, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with a personalized approach.
  • Well-presented appearance and effective communication skills.
  • Able to contribute to a team environment, contributing to the success of the store.
  • Proven sales experience and strong knowledge of paints and associated products.
  • Approachable, confident, and energetic demeanor, with the ability to handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
  • Attention to detail, initiative, and ability to learn new systems.
  • Honest, reliable, and punctual work ethic.
