OT Systems Team Lead.

  • Provide technical leadership for the operation of OT systems across various energy assets.
  • Develop and implement OT system architectures to ensure availability, reliability, and cyber resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical authority for APA's OT systems, guiding architecture, standards, and planning across energy assets.
  • Oversee the planning and deployment of OT architects, engineers, and LAN specialists to ensure seamless coordination across Plan, Build, Deliver, and Run functions in a high-performing matrix environment.
  • Manage a geographically dispersed technical team, balancing competing priorities, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring delivery excellence across multiple states and sites.
  • Lead the development, review, and approval of conceptual and preliminary system designs, including FEED, scoping, cost estimates, and SME resourcing aligned with strategic and compliance objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, regulators, and partners to ensure integration readiness, operational handover, and technical compliance in a regulated environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with CPEng, RPEQ, and RPEV accreditations (preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience in managing high-performing technical teams within complex, multi-functional environments.
  • Experience in engineering management and system operations across gas processing, power generation, renewables, and electricity transmission assets.
  • Strong understanding of operational OT systems, OT architecture, site communications networks, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, project management, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and collaborative culture.
