About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Australian Unity. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live with dignity and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a range of support and personal care services to our residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and our team members, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care and support.
About You

We are looking for someone who shares our values of Bold, Warm, and Honest. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Key qualifications include:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as Certificate III in Individual Support or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to work full-time hours, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts across a seven-day roster.
  • A driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including the booster and 2023 influenza vaccination.
