Job Title: ETL Data Specialist

Job Description:

  • Data Migration and Warehousing Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of data migration and warehousing processes to ensure accurate, reliable, and secure data transformation.
  • SQL Query Development: Design and execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations and improve overall data quality.
  • Test Automation: Utilize Python or other scripting languages to automate test processes, enhancing testing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Test Data Creation: Develop test data based on transformation rules in JIRA.
  • Test Management: Manage and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Track and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in data warehousing, data migration, and ETL testing. They should be proficient in SQL query writing and able to develop and execute complex queries to validate data transformations. Additionally, they should have excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role is required. The candidate should also be comfortable working in an Agile environment and have experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
