ETL Testing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced ETL testing specialist to join our team in Melbourne/Sydney.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Data Migration and Data Warehousing Validation: Conduct thorough testing of data migration and warehousing processes to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and encryption.
  2. Develop and execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations.
  3. Automate test processes using Python or other scripting languages to improve testing efficiency.
  4. Create test data based on transformation rules in JIRA.
  5. Manage and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Track and report defects for timely resolution.
  6. Prior experience in the Insurance domain is highly valued.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills are essential.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  9. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in ETL testing with a strong understanding of data migration and warehousing processes.
  • Proficiency in Python and ability to automate test processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and testing, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
