Job Opportunity

A challenging role is available for a skilled financial professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other financial documents.
  • Maintenance of fixed assets register and general ledger, including preparation of reconciliations.
  • Cash flow management, including daily updates and forecasting.
  • Contributing to Audit and Risk Committee reporting, including maintaining financial controls and positive liaison with external auditors.
  • Developing technical accounting papers using discretion and initiative to interpret policy and apply Australian Accounting Standards to transactions and balances.
  • Performing research and analysis in the preparation of journals and other financial records.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced accounting professional who can bring their expertise to our team. Key requirements include:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Accounting).
  • CA/CPA qualified or progressing towards qualification.
  • Knowledge of PGPA Act and Rules.
  • Australian Citizenship with an existing AGVSA baseline security clearance.
