We seek a dedicated professional to fill the position of Health and Safety Support Specialist.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Provide general assistance, including portering patients and undertaking cleaning duties as directed by clinical staff
- Current NSW Security license (Class 1A minimum)
- Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) First Aid Certificate and ability to maintain it
- Knowledge of and commitment to person-centered care principles in a healthcare environment
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Physical capacity to perform job requirements, including lifting and transferring patients
- Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and aggression management
- A supportive rural work environment
