About the Role

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Injury Management Specialist to join its supportive and experienced WHS team. In this key role, you will provide expert health, safety, and wellbeing advice to drive early intervention and coordinate return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement injury and claims management strategies, including complex and advanced return to work case management.
  • Coordinate early intervention services to support recovery at work, ensuring a smooth transition back to normal duties.
  • Conduct onsite physical/functional and worksite assessments to develop tailored return to work pathways.
  • Analyse and interpret clinical information to inform recovery and return to work outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with treatment providers to facilitate recovery and return to work.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential injury management notes and records.
  • Contribute to our Safer Workplace Projects, including delivering training on claims management, rehabilitation, return to work, safety, and wellbeing.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Health Science, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in workplace-based rehabilitation and assessment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of workers compensation legislation, NSW, ACT & QLD.
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Experience in coordinating and facilitating wellbeing programs.
  • A current driver's licence.
