Job Title: Intermediate Assurance Analyst

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Intermediate Assurance Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing audit assignments in accordance with Australian Auditing standards.

About the Role:
  • Prepare, plan and execute audit assignments in accordance with the Australian Auditing standards
  • Conduct preliminary reviews of client's data to identify potential issues for further investigation
  • Perform substantive tests of transactions and balances, raising relevant issues or adjustments
  • Develop accurate and complete statutory financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards
  • Draft clear and concise management letters and audit reports for review by managers
  • Prepare well-structured and easy-to-understand workpapers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A commerce-related degree
  • Currently undertaking or interested in studying for CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in external audit in a professional services environment
  • A client-centric approach with a strong desire to understand our clients' business needs
  • Excellent project and time management skills – ability to handle multiple priorities and projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • A great team player with the ability to work independently when required
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
