
Technical Services Lead

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will lead and manage a high-performing team to monitor and report on team performance, track provision of team support, training, and assistance. They will assist in developing organisational strategies and budgets, identify and recommend solutions to significant mechanical issues, and provide expert technical advice to consumers and internal customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-performing team to achieve key organisational objectives
- Monitor and report on team performance, track provision of team support, training, and assistance
- Develop organisational plans and budget
- Identify and recommend solutions to significant mechanical issues
- Provide expert technical advice to consumers and internal customers
- Respond to complaints, research, review, analyse, and prepare mechanical technical reports and statements for disciplinary proceedings
- Mentor staff, managing staff performance, and building and uplifting team capability as required
- Promote the organisation's vision, values, and mission
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial mechanical installations to a high level of compliance and workmanship
- Queensland restricted (Refrigeration Trade) Electrical Trade Licence
- Refrigeration/air-conditioning Trade qualification Certificate 3
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations (or equivalent through knowledge and experience)
- Work safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
- Current Queensland Drivers Licence - (Class C - Motor Vehicle)
