Key Position Overview

The role of a Learning Support Team Lead requires a passionate and experienced educator to drive the Senior School's inclusive education initiatives.

As a key member of our educational team, the successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset to support students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the transition and integration of students with learning difficulties from Middle to Senior School
  • Identify students requiring learning support and develop tailored Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
  • Manage and coordinate the LIFT Plus program and provide strategic direction for its implementation
  • Collaborate with the SACE Coordinator to develop flexible and modified SACE learning plans
  • Liaise with external agencies and industry partners to support student pathways and promote best practices
  • Provide expertise in inclusive education and contribute to the development of school-wide strategies
  • Support staff in curriculum adjustments and pedagogical modifications to enhance student learning experiences
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure effective reporting for NCCD purposes
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers to support student learning and transitions
  • Teach students requiring learning support and contribute to their academic growth and development
