Diversity and Inclusion Professional
About the Role:
This is a leadership position that oversees the design and delivery of inclusive education services to schools. The successful candidate will lead a team in providing support for student engagement, wellbeing, and behaviour.
The role involves ensuring the implementation of strategic initiatives and priorities, including Students with Disability Strategy; Aboriginal Education Strategy; Transition and Pathways Strategy. It also requires delivering innovative solutions and continuous improvement for young people.
The Manager works closely with other leaders to advance data-informed practices, support schools in adopting equitable and inclusive practices, and drive achievement of key performance indicators related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of inclusive education services to schools
- Implement strategic initiatives and priorities
- Deliver innovative solutions and continuous improvement for young people
- Advance data-informed practices
- Support schools in adopting equitable and inclusive practices
- Drive achievement of key performance indicators related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need relevant postgraduate tertiary degree qualifications, teaching qualifications, and current teacher registration. You should have senior educational leadership experience, particularly in Catholic education.
You will also need high-level organisational skills, the ability to plan strategically, problem solve, prioritise, work to deadlines, and relate tasks to a broader strategic improvement context.
A high-level written and oral communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skillset is essential, as well as a demonstrated capacity to cooperate and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
