We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Sydney team.

The role is a full-time 6-month contract.

Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights to drive business objectives. You will work closely with senior management to achieve this goal.

  • You will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting of corporate costs (Opex and Capex) for allocated departments.
  • You will analyze and interpret results to provide quality insights to senior stakeholders.
  • You will build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal customers/stakeholders.
  • You will drive improvement initiatives to simplify, streamline, and document transactional tasks.
  • You will contribute to team success by working collaboratively with own team members.
  • You will embed a culture of strong control and risk compliance ensuring adherence to Accounting Policies and internal controls including balance sheet recs and analytical reviews.
Key Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses the following qualities:

  • Experience in corporate/cost accounting, planning, and business partnering is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and influence strong partnerships at all levels across the organization.
  • A naturally curious and inquisitive individual with the desire to understand and effectively communicate the 'WHY' behind the numbers.
  • An autonomous self-starter who is solutions-focused and demonstrates a high level of Commercial Awareness and personal accountability.
  • CA or CPA qualified, or working towards this.

We estimate the salary range for this role to be between $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
